One Week in London

LONDRA, la capitale del Regno Unito. Vibrante, ricca, meravigliosa.. cultura, intrattenimento e shopping si alternano a ritmi frenetici rendendola anche la città più popolata d'europa. I "londinesi" appartengono alle più diverse nazionalità, religioni e culture, facendone una delle città più cosmopolite del mondo e una delle più differenziate linguisticamente: vi sono 300 lingue parlate!!!!! 
Insomma non resta altro che prendere il primo volo disponibile e PARTIRE...
1st DAY
Speaker's Corner
Your Tour starts at the Orio al Serio airport at 06.00 am, your flight departure’s at 08.00 am. After one hour you’ll lend at the London Stansted airport, where a private coach transfer you to the NH Kensington 4* star that is in nearby Kensington palace.
After that you are the checked–in at the hotel you can give a first look at the city and you have free lunch, if you want in a typical pub.
In the early afternoon you meet with an escorted English speaking guide and you star the tour.
Begin from Hyde Park is a vast Royal Park inside there is an artificial lake called “the Serpentine”, moreover here you can find the  Speaker’s Corner create to give a place to the people can speak freely.
Kensington Garden
Hyde Park is bordered by Kensington Gardens  popular for walking, jogging but it is most famous for Kensington Palace that was the home of the Princess Diana and also for The
Princess Of Wales Memorial Playground. Another attraction is the Statue of Peter Pan.
After you finish the visit you return to the hotel NH Kensington for dinner and overnight stay.

2nd DAY
Breakfast at the hotel, you meet the escorted Italian speaking guide to start with a visit to another stunning part of London.
Today the first highlight is Buckingham Palace, the major tourist attraction in London, it is owned by the Royal Family; one part of the castle can be visited, it includes the charming decorated rooms.
Buckingham Palace is located in Westminster district and it is bordered by the Green Park  in north and St. James’s Park in the east, that are other two very spectacular Royal Parks in London. Here you can admire also the change of the Guard that takes place at 11.30 am but not everyday.
You have lunch in international restaurant and after that you continue the tour with the Westminster Abbey. It was started in 1050. It is located near the  House of Parliament and Big Ben, that you will admire in followers. In Westminster Abbey many Kings or Queens of Great Britain have been crowned since 1066.
After that you continue to the Houses of Parliament, located on the river Thames. House of Parliament is the seat of two parliamentary house: the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
Next to the House of Parliament there is the Big Ben known also as the Clock Tower, it is very high but unfortunately it is not accessible, therefore you do not look London by its top. But you can do it by riding on the London Eye, that is a very popular tourist attraction. London Eye is located in Jubilee Gardens, it is 135 high and the Journey to admire London it takes thirty minutes.
You return to the Hotel NH Kensington for dinner and overnight stay.

3rd DAY
Breakfast at the hotel, you start a walking sightseeing tour  with in Piccadilly circus, that is a bustling heart of London, here junction  of the five major streets, but you will stroll only in Piccadilly Circus and Shaftesbury Avenue  where you can see the district  to Chinatown.
Piccadilly circus is a favourite place where the tourist pop in shop.
Shaftesbury Avenue is another trendy and vibrant district, here you can find many theatres and bar, pubs and snacks, where you can eat before and after to the show.
In the north there is an area called in past “red-light area”, in fact this was a Bohemian Area.
in the South there is, instead, Chinatown with lots of restaurants and supermarkets, Chinese shops.
The name of the shop and the street are in Chinese with the English translation in the bottom. You can have lunch in typical Chinese restaurant.
You continue walking to Trafalgar Square the largest square since the Middle Ages. In the centre of the square there is the Nelson’s Column, that was built of commemorate the victory to Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson. You con go on the visit to the National Gallery is in neo-classical style, it collection more 2300 paintings, including work from Van Gogh, Renoir, Leonardo Da Vinci, when you finish the visit, you return to the hotel NH Kensington for dinner and overnight stay.

4th DAY
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Oxford with private coach. When you arrive; you start a visit the University of Oxford, that is  the most famous in the world and many students would like to study in this university. You have lunch in a typical restaurant. After the lunch the group makes sightseeing tour to city centre, that is most famous for its a convenient location. In the west end area there are the major shops such as Templars Square Shopping Centre.

Another most important tourist attraction is Blackwells Books that is the biggest bookshop then Europe. The group has dinner in a typical restaurant of charming English country, after that they return to the hotel NH Kensington for the overnight stay.



5th DAY
Breakfast at the hotel and after that  you start to visit the British Museum is a vast collection of art and antiquities.
This museum has different sections for example: Pantheon Gallery and Egyptian Collection. An important archaeological find that is preserved here is the “stele di Rosetta”, that allowed to translate the hieroglyphic.
After the visit you have lunch in a pub in Russell Square; you continue to the “City” that is very bustling during  the week day but in the week-end the “ City” is desolated, there are also the tourist.

The “ City” is the economy and financial centre of London with its bank and Insurances, here there is also the London Wall was built in the roman period. Another important tourist attraction in the “ City-Area” is: St. Paul’s Cathedral built by Christopher Wren between 1675 and 1711, it is in classical baroque style. After that you return to the hotel  NH Kensington for dinner and overnight stay.


6th DAY
Breakfast at the hotel, today the tour starts with Tower of London was built in the 11th century. It was strategically built near the river Thames and consist of twenty towers in total. After that you can admire the Tower Bridge, the  symbol of London. The Bridge is in Victorian style and it is six meters long and forty-three meters high.

You have free lunch, after you go at the Madame Taussaud’s is the London’s favourite attraction where you can admire the statues of world leaders, actors, sports legend and other characters all made of wax.
After that you send the last evening in the Regent’s park, that is spectacular park where there is also the London Zoo.
You return to the hotel NH Kensington for dinner and overnight stay.


7th DAY
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer from Stansted airport for your homebound  flight.
